Access arrangements for KS2 national curriculum tests require careful professional judgement. This course provides practical guidance on the KS2 access arrangements framework and supports schools in making appropriate, evidence-informed decisions. She began her career as a primary school teacher and has over 30 years’ experience teaching, supporting and assessing learners across a range of settings. Lia works with schools, colleges and awarding bodies, providing assessment, consultancy and training focused on accurate, evidence-informed practice. She is the author of Assessing the Need for Access Arrangements in Examinations and is widely recognised for translating complex access arrangements guidance into practical support for education professionals. For this course, Lia brings together her background in primary education and her specialist expertise in access arrangements to support schools and specialist assessors in understanding the STA framework for KS2 national curriculum tests.
